ACTOR

Judith Williams has worked professionally in film, theatre and television since 1996.  She secured representation with her first agent on leaving high school. She then went on to train at the Royal Academy of Music, London on their Post-Graduate Musical Theatre in 2005.

JUDITH has performed in award winning film and television. Her first film role was in Peter Mullans ORPHANS [winner of 9 International Awards].

Her TV credits include: THE BOOK GROUP by Annie Griffen, she played Claire in the much loved HIGHTIMES [both winners of Scottish BAFTA Best Drama]. Judith has had stints in Scottish Classics TAGGART and RIVERCITY. She also played Didi in HEARTBEAT.  

Short films: Andy Goddard's KINGS OF THE WILD FRONTIER and Linder Sterlings DARKTOWN CAKEWALK film by Tim Walker for Channel 4 / Frieze.

Theatre

Judith's debut professional performance was at Tramway in Raindog's HOUSE OF BERNARDA ALBA in 1996. 

Since then Judith has performed extensively in Scottish Theatre and beyond. Judith played the title/solo role in ORLANDO with Cryptic touring to Montclair, New Jersey and Puelba, Mexico.

Judith has toured work with Giant as The Songbird in THE SONGBIRD and with Curious Seed in PUSH. Created and performed in VENUS LABYRINTH at the Arches with Cantible 2 and Conflux. She performed in GRANDAD AND ME, RED SHOES and THE WORLD OF JUDY TWO SHOES with her company The Letter J. 

Judith had a two year stint at Dundee Rep playing multiple roles in PEER GYNT [CATS Best Production - Dundee Rep | NTS | Barbican], Margaret in SUNSHINE OF LEITH [TMA Best Musical - Original Cast at Dundee Rep] and Nell Gwynne in PLAYHOUSE CREATURES [Dundee Rep].
