GRANDAD AND ME

Grandad&Me

Grandad and Me is a living storybook about loss, longing and the treasures of memory and imagination.

“…gorgeously detailed and nostalgic set, wonderful live music and beautifully simple projected animation.”

WINTER WONDERS

Winter Wonders is the story of Summer who goes on a journey to learn all about the wonderful things Winter has to offer.

"A lovely mix of magical, whimsical and funny. The set was beautiful, simple yet so intricate with little details that added to the seamless movement of the piece."

- Linsey Attwood, Audience Member 2017

RED SHOES

GlasgowLife177.jpg

A re-telling of the classic fairytale commissioned by Tramway in 2012. A tricky dance indeed.

“a triumph of collaborative invention, with Williams's vision and joyous personality to the fore in this brilliantly bold approach to theatre for children.”

- Mary Brennan, The Herald on The World of Judy Two Shoes, June 2013.

The glamorous Ms Williams, who is co-founder of The Letter J with Jon Bishop (AKA The Grey Earl), is wonderfully capable of a range of instruments, voices and accents. Her opening clear- as- a- bell slow rendition of the old song My Grandfather’s Clock holds all the poignancy of unaccompanied kirk singing and with the power to induce ready tears.
